I've been working flat out all week uploading all the new fabrics and now need to go and put my feet up :)
oh before I go i've ordered lots of patterns from around the world so i'm hoping they will arrive over the next few weeks. Also after all this hard work i'm going to sew something as a treat! I'm thinking a Summer top for me and now i've written it here i'll have to do it :)
Courtney Courtney Courtney, why do you do this to me? Again I spy fabrics that would be good for Holly's quilt- I have a wedding to pay for as you well know! Justine xx
ReplyDeleteI'm a new UK quilter and quilt blogger and am compiling a list of UK fresh modern fabric shops and chanced upon your totally gorgeous shop and totally gorgeous blog. When I have a few more readers, perhaps in a few months time, I'd like to do a post about the shop. In the meantime, feel free to let me know if there's anything you'd like me to add to your name on the list or to my post today. If you have a button, I'd be happy to add it to my sidebar! http://www.lilysquilts.blogspot.com/ X

ReplyDeleteI probably shouldn't mention I was going to put a quilt bundle together then!

ReplyDeleteHi Lynne
Thank you for the lovely mention on your blog (I look forward to having a good look around your blog soon).
I must confess that the background to Seamstar is that I am a sewer rather than a quilter and I was frustrated with boring sewing fabrics and kept seeing so many lovely quilting fabric. However I've now seen so many stunning quilts I will one day have a go at making a quilt myself! Also (see comment above) I will be adding some quilting bundles when I can.
Well, because you sent back such a lovely comment and clicked follower, I made you a cute button on the blog and, as and when you have any quilt bundle news, let me know and I'll post it (and probably buy some too!).

ReplyDeleteThanks Lynne!
I'll probably be asking you for quilt advice soon :)
