ReplyDeleteMy favourite is the American Craft ribbon with the robot print:)
what a great giveaway!
ReplyDeleteI love the chenille dot ribbon - it would be great for trimming bags and purses
I like the nude neutrals or maybe the nude chenille dot for an ivory/cream/beige bib necklace I'm working on. Ribbons make great ties for necklaces, and this would add such cute variety!
ReplyDeleteI also like the velvet corduroy for a clutch or fun wallet.
You know they are all very lovely! However I think my favourite might be Marshmallow Violet. Thanks for the giveaway.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great giveaway! I'd have to say I love the dotty ribbons best, cant beat polka dots! I've always fancied trying using ribbon as sashing on a very simple quilt...
ReplyDeleteIt's pretty hard to choose just one, but at the moment I'm feeling that turquoise grosgrain scalloped edge ribbon. I'd like to make a cute little red and turquoise bag trimmed/accented with it.
ReplyDeleteI would have to have 'love and hearts' to use as a 'zip pull' on my sock knitting kits. http://judiknitsandsews.blogspot.com/2011/03/busy-day-sewing.html
ReplyDeleteTurquoise chenille fat dot - it's so lovely I would feel the urge to trim everything, starting with cushions, then moving on to my children!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fantastic competition - thank you for the opportunity!
Loving your site, the beautiful material and ribbon. My favourite ribbon is the turquoise fairy cake ribbon and I would love to make a new apron trimmed in that ribbon as a first project with my newly serviced sewing machine. I'm keeping my fingers crossed as I am addicted to ribbon as you can see http://christeaandcakes.blogspot.com/2011/02/ribbon-is-gonna-get-you.html
ReplyDeleteMy fave is the chenille dot ribbon. I would use it to make wrap around handles for the transparent bags Im currently making.

ReplyDeleteLovely ribbons, I like the striped ones which would look lovely as trim on a little girls dress!
ReplyDeleteReally hard to choose a favourite but I think the Chenille dots would look fabulous on a funky cushion :)
ReplyDeletechenille Dot skinny in olive sage would be my choice. Love that colour and its spotty-ness. My bedside lamp needs a makeover so that'd be myribbon project. Mmm

ReplyDeleteAmerican Crafts leafy - I think, but it is very hard to decide! Juliex
ReplyDeleteawesome competition and far far too many gorgeous ribbons to choose a favourite, but I'm going to pick the ivory coloured crochet trim for it's beauty and old-fashioned class.
ReplyDeleteI would use it as a trim on a lovely lacy ivory knitted cardigan for some old-style glam. (but don't hold me to that cos I'm forever changing my mind on what to knit!)
I'd use the Black Twill ribbon to upcycle an old frame I have lying around looking sad. Wrap it round and round and, voila, a funky new frame for a photo of my handsome, soon-to-go-away-on-a-6-month-tour husband!
ReplyDeleteLove quite a few ribbons but the Solid Stitched Centre Ribbon is my favourite. Seems to be a bit quirky, bit French, bit vintage. Orange black is my favourite colour. Perfect
ReplyDeleteWhat a fabulous giveaway! My fave is the big dot in shocking pink. With all these scrummy ribbons, I would be spoiled for choice but I would start with creating some orgeous hair bows and hair accessories.

ReplyDeleteOh my god! What a fantastic giveaway! Please, please, pick me!!!
ReplyDeleteI especially love the twill ribbon - I'm sure it would look great on handbags.
I would choose the velvet cord ribbon to decorate bookmarks that I then send to my favourite rabbit charity for them to sell to raise funds for the special care bunnies.
ReplyDeleteIt would have to be the gorgeous floral felt ribbon - all colours! I'm covering an old lampshade right now with patchwork and they would finish it off perfectly!

Such a wonderful prize. My favourite ribbon is the Rosette Ribbon Trim in yellow, so cheerful and bright :)
ReplyDeleteSweet giveaway!! I don't know if I like the Gingham ribbon or the cute gingerbread cookies more?!!
ReplyDeleteI would choose the velvet cord ribbon and I would use it to decorate bookmarks that I then send to my favourite rabbit charity, they then sell them to raise funds for 'special needs' rabbits.
ReplyDeleteThey're all so beautiful, but the one I'm really drawn to is the pale blue floral felt. I have a white pillowcase with blue embroidered flowers, which I'm going to make into a pillowcase dress for my daughter. That ribbon is the perfect trim for it.
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, I didn't realise quite how much gorgeous ribbon you had! So hard to choose which I love the most, but I am smitten with the floral felt ribbon in light blue - I've never seen anything like it! I think I would incorporate it into a sweet summer top.

ReplyDeleteWhat would I use it for? Well .... I am organising a Flower Festival at my Church this coming May. Never done this before, so it is MEGA scary!
I would use it to decorate displays and use as edging for flower displays.
Thanks for such a generous give away. As my Church doesn't have a lot of spare cash, I would so love to win this to use at the Flower Festival :)
This was a tough decision - crocheted lace or velvet corduroy... The velvet corduroy won in the end as those colours are just yummy & perfect for trim on a skirt for my daughter :)
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, what a generous giveaway! Thanks so much for letting us enter this comp.
ReplyDeleteI love both the Floral Felt Ribbon and the Crochet Trim. They're great for edging on kids clothes, smartening up clothes for grown ups and adding a special touch to handmade fabric purses and bags.

My favourite has to be the gosgrain scalloped edge in apricot. I'm current kitting out my son's nursery in oranges and green and am sure I'd make good use of this in there.
ReplyDeleteI love the good old simple red, white and blue ribbon. We've just moved into a house that has seen better days. It's going to take a good few years to get around to the bedroom of my 2 toddler sons so I'd love to make them some cool cushions and bunting to help brighten up their dreary room. Patriotic or nautical feel..................hmmmmmm, this ribbon would be perfect!
ReplyDeleteLove all your ribbons - what a dream competition! Think my favourite is the turquoise cupcake ribbon - I would use it to make some pretty bunting!
ReplyDeleteMy favourite is the Floral Felt Ribbon Trim in Yellow. I would use it to simply look at and cheer myself up!
ReplyDeleteI love all the ribbons. I'm torn between what I would choose to do first. I want to make a statement to decorate my dull dining room wall and so one plan would be to cover a plywood board with hessian then criss cross it with Floral Felt Ribbon Trim in brown [R/1179]. I would also use a variety of ribbons to trim hearts to hang on the chair backs at my daughter's wedding reception in August. Guests will be able to take the hearts as souvenirs of a great day.

ReplyDeleteWah! Too many pretty ribbons to choose just one! If I had to, though, I'd pick the turquoise scalloped edge grosgrain, and use it with fresh white linen for a sweet little girl's summer dress. Or just stroke it. Probably the latter.
ReplyDeleteI thought I'd entered this giveaway.... but I can't see myself :( so here I go again, I really love the floral felt ribbon, although I do love lots and lots of them, so it is hard to choose.
